Liz Vigoda has a degree in Anthropology from the University of Chicago and studied ceramics at Sir John Cass College of Art, London. She has been teaching pottery and art for over 30 years including at Sage College and the Albany Institute of History and Art. Her work is represented by fine galleries and shops nationwide.
In 1974 she established her own studio in a 150 year old farmhouse in upstate NY. In 1983 the studio was moved to a renovated factory building in Albany NY where it was located for 19 years. It is now located at 9 Keith Rd. Delmar, NY 12054 .
Her work has many influences: special loves are painted folk pottery and embroidery designs from around the world.
